Latest Customer Benefits

Welcome, and thanks for visiting our web site, to read about the latest developments we have implemented and the improved customer benefits Weaver and Company has planned for 2009.

Automated Production Line – INCREASED production capacity

During 2008 we invested in an automated production line for our Ten20 jars to increase our production capacity and improve our service to you as we continue to grow. We purchased a faster filling machine, an automatic jar capper, checkweigher, and an automated conveyor line to link them all together.

The new equipment has revolutionized our manufacturing process for both 4oz and 8oz jars, substantially reducing the fill time of the jars, increasing our overall manufacturing capacity and enabling us to produce more of our products faster than ever before.
The filler delivers a measured amount of product into the jars at approximately 80 jars per minute, and the continuously moving conveyor transports the jars to the capper to have the lids attached. The jars then proceed on the conveyor to the checkweigher for a 100% quality control check on the fill weight. Finally the jars proceed down the conveyor line to the printer where the lot number and expiration date are printed on the bottom of the jar as they pass over a photo eye, and they become available for packaging.

During November and December we validated the filling and capping machinery and as we have become more familiar with the equipment, and run it more efficiently, we are already seeing the benefits in fewer temporary stock outs even as customer demand for our products continues to increase. Fewer stock outs quickly lead to shorter order fulfillment times, particularly for our larger distributors, who continue to grow with us and sell ever-increasing amounts of our products.

Semi-Automated Cartoning – FASTER order fulfillment

For 2009 we are continuing investment in manufacturing by adding a semi-automatic cartoner to package our Nuprep and Ten20 tubes and instruction sheets into the 3-pack boxes. This machine will replace our current manual process and eliminate this bottleneck in our production process.

Updated website – improved forms and email order placement

WE have improved the look and feel of our web site and particularly the instructions and forms we provide to place an order or register to become a new customer or new distributor. The forms can be filled in right on your computer and emailed directly to the relevant department here at Weaver and Company for immediate processing. No more printing, handwriting and faxing - it can now all be done directly from your workstation.

Our goal is to deliver our market leading products to you faster then ever before, wherever you are in the world.
